Summer Fun

We went to the lake again this weekend and of course we had a blast! I actually got out and wakeboarded for the first time this summer. It was fun to get out and try it again because last summer was the first time i had ever wakeboarded in my life. I got up, but i have trouble staying up for a long time. Hopefully i can improve over the summer even though it is already half way over :(

Roll over roll over let Nathan come over

Since saturday Nate has been rolling over from stomach to back, with a little assistance from Dad, but yesterday he did it all by himself! It was so exciting to see even though it is just a little thing. He is starting to react to toys now and loves his little lion that hangs on his carseat! Bryce was in the backseat with nate and he was crying and he started talking to him and showing him the lion and they named him Rachester. Weird i know, but it has stuck. Last night we went and played wiffle ball with some friends and it was a lot of fun! I realized how bad i am with hand eye cordination...it looks like i need to get out and practice! There was another cute baby there that is 5 weeks younger then nate and both babies did so good! They didnt really cry at all until after about 2 hours when nate was getting sleepy and Lincoln was hungry. I should have taken pictures, but i didnt so i dont have any to post.

Weekend Getaway

This weekend we went up to skyler's parents cabin on cedar mountain. It was just sky, nate, me, bryce, bryce's little bro, and bryce's little bros friend. We all had a blast! Nate loved going up to the cabin and had a great first experience! We made a lot of fun memories! I was a little nervous on how he would sleep up there, but he was a champ and slept through the whole night! He got to go on his first 4 wheeling ride and he loved it so much! He stayed awake for a little while, but of course he ended up falling asleep ( just like he does on the boat). The weather was perfect up there! It was a little cold at night, but it was like 70 during the day (compared to the 104 it was in st. george!) we love going up to the cabin and cant wait until we can go again!

2 months

So Nate turned 2 months last sunday and he is getting so big! i cant believe it! he had his 2 month doctors appointment on tuesday and he is now 11 lbs 10 oz and 23.5 inches long! He has grown 4 inches and gained 4 lbs in 2 months! he had to get it shots which was so sad, but he actually did a lot better then i thought he would! he only cried while the nurse gave him the shot and as soon as they handed him back to me he stopped crying...he was so brave :) skyler was gone this whole week and just got back last night and he was amazed how much nate had grown in the 4 days he was gone. i love being home with nate and watching him grow and develop into his own cute personality. everyday he does something new or funny and i cant help but think how lucky i am to be blessed with such a wonderful baby!

he loves to stand up on my lap and i lift him up so he can fly like an airplane and when i put him back down on my lap he trys to push of and fly agian. its so cute! he is strong it amazes me!


yesterday he was having tummy time and he was laying on the floor and he would push off the floor and straighten his legs and he came so close to fliping himself over from his stomach to his back. it probably would have hurt if he would have pushed himself over. if i lay him on his stomach he will not stay in one spot he is always scooting himself around and if he is on his back he kicks his legs and waves his arms really fast! it is so funny to watch him.






lately he has been so fascinated with his hands. He will stare at his hands and then play with them and stick them in his mouth. and yesterday i laid him on the couch and there is a red throw on it and he loved playing with it!
