Helpful Tricks to Try

A couple of days ago Nathan had a pretty bad stomach ache and would not stop crying! I felt so bad considering it was because i ate something he didnt like, unfortunatley i am not sure what is was :( My mother-in-law told me she heard if you lay your baby on their stomach on a dryer and turn it on that will help calm them down and soothe their stomach. So i decided i would give it a try and i couldnt believe how well it worked! He was crying and the second i set him on the dryer and turned it on he stopped crying...it was amazing! And not even a minute later he was sound asleep! Take a look...

Skyler and I have also found a couple of other helpful tricks...

Turning on the shower and closing the bathroom door. We hold him or lay him on a towel on the floor. This also puts him right asleep and when he is congested it helps clear up his nose...

Putting him in his carseat and taking him for a stroller or car ride...

And the new latest and greatest thing he loves is the swing...

We did something similar to the dryer. Riley was a very colicky baby, so we would put him in his carseat on the dryer. And we did the shower one. Both of my boys now sleep with a sound machine, it makes like a white noise sound.

Those are some cute pictures. I am glad that you shared. If that many things work to put him to sleep he must be a really good baby. And I love the pics with your sister.
