A couple of days after Nathan was born i gave him a sponge bath, which turned out to be a very dramatic experience! It was the first time i got to hear him scream at the top of his lungs! I felt so bad and i wanted to stop and tell him it would be ok and i would never bathe him again! I realized that would not be such a good idea considering his face already had the crusty baby look from all the spit up and sleepys in his eyes. I continued to bathe him even though he was screaming bloody murder and i think that made him more upset because the next thing i knew there was i fountain of pee headed my way! they say newborns cant smile until they are about a month old, but i swear he let out a little grin showing me the door swings both ways and if i was going to mess with him he would mess with me right back. After we got done with his bath i bundled him up in his cute bath towel and layed him on the couch for a minute while i went and cleaned up the mess in the bathroom. I walked back out to check on him because he was not crying or making any noises and this is how i found him...
sound asleep...he looked so cute and i couldnt help but take like 50 pictures of him just laying there asleep. i wont post all the pictures i took because i really went all out and took like 50 or more, but here are a few.

Both of my boys cried during bath too. You get used to it :)
