Busy busy busy!

ok so it has been a long time since i posted much so this blog will probably be a long random one! For starters Nate slept through the night last night!! i was so excited when i looked at the clock to see what time it was and it was 7 in the morning! I picked him up out of his bed and gave him a huge hug and kiss and told him how proud and excited i was that he slept through the night for the first time! He has been a really good sleeper and has been sleeping for about hours straight since he was born and that last couple weeks he slept for 5 hours and now he has slept through the night! Hopefully this will continue and not just be a one night deal :)

Last week we went up to salt lake because skyler's brother justin was in the state playoffs for baseball! He did a great job and we are really proud of him! I was only able to see one of his games because i went and stayed with my sister for a week because she is pregnant and very sick! It was fun to go and play with my nephew! He is at a fun age and he was so cute with Nathan! He always wanted to help me with him by putting his pacifier in his mouth and taking his diaper to the trash. He is going to be such a good big brother! He also copyed everything nathan did! If nathan sneezed or coughed he would pretend to! When i would give nate a kiss he would want to too! It was so cute! It is so funny how kids catch on and copy everything we do! We would be playing and he would hear his mom throwing up in the bathroom and he would stand up and lean over and make a throwing up noise! It was sad for angela, but i was laughing so hard! It was fun, but having a toddler and a 6 week old is hard work!

On memorial day we went on a hike at red cliffs with skyler's family. I had never been there before so it was really cool to me! It was so beautiful! We had a lot of fun!

A day of fun in the sun!

Today Skyler had a softball tournament down in mesquite so nate and i were on our own for the day. We ended up having a lot of fun.

It all started when nate woke up and was full of smiles (sorry pic is blurry)

Then it was bath time and there were more smiles...

Then it was nap time so i could get ready for the day...

Then we went to the Pasta Factory for lunch with my girlfriends and after we got done we went to the new park on main street and played. It was so fun! We had a blast!

After we got done playing at the park we were so hot and sweaty i stripped Nate down into his diaper and layed him on the couch to let him cool off. He was smiling and having a great time just relaxing.

Then Skyler got home and they started to play together and Skyler told me to look and he was balancing Nate which made me really nervous but Nate was holding himself up really good!
Then Skyler was starving and wanted Pasta Factory, so we went there (yes i went there 2 times in one day :) I told him how we went to the park early that day and he had never been there so after dinner we went to the park and hung out (which we were also at 2 times in one day! It was such a nice night!

I received this email from my mother-in-law and i love it so much! It made me cry! I just wanted to post it for all mothers and future mothers to read.

A newborn's conversation with God

A baby asked God, 'They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?' God said, 'Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.' The child further inquired, 'But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.' God said, 'Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy.' Again the child asked, 'And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?' God said, 'Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.' 'And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?' God said, 'Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.' 'Who will protect me?' God said, 'Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.' 'But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.' Happy Mother's Day!

I love being a mom so much! Nate means more to me than anything in the world! I have the greatest mom and my only wish is that i can be at least half the mom my mother was to me!

One month old!

I was going to post this yesterday, but it was a pretty busy day for me so i didnt end up having time. Nathan turned one month old yesterday! I cant believe it! That is the fastest month i have ever had! He has grown up so much! I took some pictures of him in his cute outfit and as i look at them he looks so much older to me! People always see him and say he is so little and i just want to be like no he isnt he has grown so much and he just needs to slow down! Last night he slept for 5 hours straight and the night before he slept for 6! It was so nice!

Nathan has been smiling occasionally for a little over a week now and i finally got a picture of a big smile! He is with my friend. It is kinda hard to see because he is turned a little, but you can get an idea of how cute it is :)
