Boating Trip #2

We went boating for the second time this summer and this time nate was awake for a little bit. He loved it! We all had a lot of fun! This time it was windy and the water was bad for wakeboarding, so we went on the tube instead.

After we got back from the lake we went and dropped the boat off and decided to let nate experience the fun of being in the water. We took out back into grandmas pool and let him swim with dad. He liked it at first, but then the wind started blowing and he got cold and wanted to get out.

So last week we went to sand hallow and went boating with some friends and it was a ton of fun! We couldnt go until about 6pm because that is when everyone got off of work so it was pretty cold when the boat was going, but we still had some brave people who went wake boarding in the 60 degree lake, i was not one of them :) , but my awesome husband was! I was nervous about taking nate but he slept the whole time! He looked dead just laying there on my lap strapped down in his life vest. i stuck my finger in his mouth a couple of times to make sure he was still alive! the funniest thing was putting him in his life vest and him not even waking up! it looked so funny on him because the life jacket was pretty much bigger then he was! we planned on bbqing at the lake, but we were all cold so we went back to coral canyon,s club house to do it and go hot tubbing. There was only like 15 minutes until closing time so we hurried and made our food and left. All in all it was a fun time!

Busy busy busy!

ok so it has been a long time since i posted much so this blog will probably be a long random one! For starters Nate slept through the night last night!! i was so excited when i looked at the clock to see what time it was and it was 7 in the morning! I picked him up out of his bed and gave him a huge hug and kiss and told him how proud and excited i was that he slept through the night for the first time! He has been a really good sleeper and has been sleeping for about hours straight since he was born and that last couple weeks he slept for 5 hours and now he has slept through the night! Hopefully this will continue and not just be a one night deal :)

Last week we went up to salt lake because skyler's brother justin was in the state playoffs for baseball! He did a great job and we are really proud of him! I was only able to see one of his games because i went and stayed with my sister for a week because she is pregnant and very sick! It was fun to go and play with my nephew! He is at a fun age and he was so cute with Nathan! He always wanted to help me with him by putting his pacifier in his mouth and taking his diaper to the trash. He is going to be such a good big brother! He also copyed everything nathan did! If nathan sneezed or coughed he would pretend to! When i would give nate a kiss he would want to too! It was so cute! It is so funny how kids catch on and copy everything we do! We would be playing and he would hear his mom throwing up in the bathroom and he would stand up and lean over and make a throwing up noise! It was sad for angela, but i was laughing so hard! It was fun, but having a toddler and a 6 week old is hard work!

On memorial day we went on a hike at red cliffs with skyler's family. I had never been there before so it was really cool to me! It was so beautiful! We had a lot of fun!

A day of fun in the sun!

Today Skyler had a softball tournament down in mesquite so nate and i were on our own for the day. We ended up having a lot of fun.

It all started when nate woke up and was full of smiles (sorry pic is blurry)

Then it was bath time and there were more smiles...

Then it was nap time so i could get ready for the day...

Then we went to the Pasta Factory for lunch with my girlfriends and after we got done we went to the new park on main street and played. It was so fun! We had a blast!

After we got done playing at the park we were so hot and sweaty i stripped Nate down into his diaper and layed him on the couch to let him cool off. He was smiling and having a great time just relaxing.

Then Skyler got home and they started to play together and Skyler told me to look and he was balancing Nate which made me really nervous but Nate was holding himself up really good!
Then Skyler was starving and wanted Pasta Factory, so we went there (yes i went there 2 times in one day :) I told him how we went to the park early that day and he had never been there so after dinner we went to the park and hung out (which we were also at 2 times in one day! It was such a nice night!
